The StressLogic System™

Evaluate · Calibrate · Harmonize · Optimize

A structured, repeatable coaching system built on decades of elite endurance experience — the foundation of the StressLogic System™.

The Methodology

We Don’t Hand Athletes A Plan And Wish Them Luck.

At Angela Naeth Coaching, we apply a structured, repeatable coaching system built on decades of elite endurance experience — the StressLogic System™.

The StressLogic System™ is a four-phase process: Evaluate the athlete, Calibrate their training zones and load, Harmonize training with life and health, and Optimize performance continuously. This is what separates athletes who plateau from athletes who keep improving — and it applies equally across triathlon, running, and cycling.

Phase 01

Evaluate

Know the athlete before building the plan.

Every ANC coaching relationship begins with a thorough evaluation of the athlete — not just their race history, but their physiology, movement quality, training background, life demands, and performance limiters. You cannot build the right plan without understanding the whole athlete.

  • Physiological profiling: Critical Power (CP) and Critical Speed (CS) testing
  • Aerobic vs. anaerobic archetype assessment
  • Training history, injury history, and durability ceiling
  • Race goals, timeline, and athlete-defined success criteria
  • Life load assessment: work, family, stress, sleep, and recovery capacity

The Evaluate phase is not a one-time intake form. It is an ongoing process — we re-evaluate continuously as the athlete changes.

Phase 02

Calibrate

Set the right targets. Build the right load.

Calibration is where evaluation becomes action. Using the athlete’s physiological data, we set precise training zones, weekly load targets, and block structure — not from a formula, but from your actual numbers.

  • Zone prescription from CP and CS testing — your real thresholds, not estimates
  • Training load calibrated to your aerobic capacity and recovery rate
  • Block periodization: base, build, peak, and taper sequenced to your race calendar
  • Discipline-specific volume and intensity ratios for swim, bike, and run
  • Fueling and nutrition targets calibrated to training load and metabolic profile

“The right load for the wrong athlete is still the wrong load.”

Phase 03

Harmonize

Training that fits life — and supports health.

Training does not exist in isolation. The StressLogic System™ treats life and health as coaching variables — not obstacles to work around. A plan that ignores your life will eventually be ignored by you.

  • Training schedules built around real-life constraints: work, travel, family
  • Load management that accounts for non-training stress (sleep, illness, life events)
  • Recovery protocols integrated into every training block — not added as an afterthought
  • Injury prevention through progressive loading and movement quality
  • Hormonal, immune, and long-term health awareness in training prescription
  • Sustainable training habits that compound over seasons and years

We coach athletes who want to compete for decades. Harmonizing training with life and health is how that becomes possible.

Phase 04

Optimize

Data-informed. Continuously refined.

Optimization is where science meets coaching art. We use performance data, athlete feedback, and race analysis to continuously refine training — so every block is smarter than the last. The plan is never finished; it evolves with the athlete.

  • Ongoing TrainingPeaks data review: CTL, ATL, TSB, and readiness tracking
  • Power and pace analysis to identify performance gains and limiters
  • Race execution analysis and post-race debriefs
  • Fueling and pacing strategy refined for each race and course
  • Heat, altitude, and condition-specific preparation
  • Weekly plan adjustments based on athlete response and life load

We don’t set a plan and forget it. We watch, adjust, and optimize — continuously.

★ The Engine Behind the StressLogic System™

Physiological Profiles & Sustainability

The reason the StressLogic System™ works for every athlete — beginner to elite — is that every plan is anchored to your unique physiological profile. We don’t apply a template. We apply the methodology to your body, your CP/CS, your aerobic vs. anaerobic archetype, your sustainable range, and your durability ceiling.

This is the science that powers the system. If you want to understand exactly how the StressLogic System™ is applied to you, this is the page to read next.
