IRONMAN 70.3 Coach
IRONMAN 70.3 Coach
Our coaching team builds your 70.3 one block at a time, around the week you actually have.
Angela Naeth Coaching is an online coaching team for 70.3 triathletes, from a first half to a World Championship slot. We choose one training block at a time, plan your bike pacing and fueling, and fit every week to your life.
FIRST 70.3 · FASTER 70.3 · WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
A 70.3 is fast and tactical, and it punishes a bike that is a little too hard. So we coach the whole day: the block that builds what you are missing, a bike pacing plan you can hold, and fueling you have practiced.
We coach first timers, athletes chasing a faster half and World Championship qualifiers. Every level is welcome here.

Why A 70.3 Needs A Real Coach.
A 70.3 is faster and more tactical than a full IRONMAN, and just as hard on fueling and pacing. The margin for error is real, in pacing, fueling, training load, and race execution. Generic plans don't account for your physiology, your life, or your race. A real coach does.
The ANC coaching system was developed from decades of professional competition and clinical expertise in physical therapy and health sciences. That depth is built into every athlete's plan.
Every 70.3 Athlete.

How We Coached a First 70.3 to a World Championship Slot
She was a 38 year old nurse racing Olympic distance, with about 8 hours a week to train. We built a 24 week 70.3 block: the long ride and long run grew in steps her shifts could absorb, open water sessions built confidence in the swim, and we planned her race execution, bike pacing and fueling before race week. She finished her first 70.3 and qualified for the 70.3 World Championships in her age group.

Five Pillars. Built For 70.3.
Physiological Testing
Critical Power and Critical Speed testing establishes your real training zones. Not a formula. Not a calculator. Your data.
Clinical Foundation
Grounded in physical therapy and health sciences. Injury prevention, movement quality, and durability are built into the plan, not added as an afterthought.
Race-Day Fueling
The bike is your fueling window. The run is where you spend what you loaded. We build your complete fueling plan around your finish time, your metabolic profile, and your gut training history.
Pacing Strategy
Bike pacing is the most common 70.3 mistake. We build your exact targets, by segment, by condition, by your fitness, so you run off the bike instead of surviving it.
Ongoing Coaching
Weekly plan adjustments, data review, race strategy sessions, and a coach who responds when things go sideways.
The 70.3 Truth
Great 70.3 races are not the result of one heroic effort. They're the result of hundreds of small, correct decisions made when it would have been easier to make the wrong one.
Full IRONMAN vs. 70.3
IRONMAN
The ultimate endurance test. We coach athletes to every full-distance race worldwide. Pacing restraint, fueling discipline, and durable aerobic depth define a great day.
IRONMAN 70.3
The most popular long-course distance. Faster, more tactical, and just as demanding on fueling and pacing. Threshold matters here, and execution still wins.
